After match day three of the Nigeria Women Football League Premiership, Royal Queens of Warri remains bottom of Group A without a point and a goal, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.
The Warri based side suffered their third defeat of the season on Wednesday November 29, with a 1-0 lose to Confluence Queens at the Iyamho stadium, Edo State.
It was a hard fought win for the Kogi side as Royal Queens proved resolute in defense. The host broke the deadlock with an 85 minute strike from Fagbenro Daniella who started the game on the bench.
After match day 3 of the Nigeria Women Football League, Royal Queens remain the only club without a goal and a point as they remain bottom of Group A with a -6 goal difference.
Royal Queens will be working on getting their first goal and point of the season when they host Abuja based Naija Ratels next Wednesday, December 6.
