Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu has joined millions of well-meaning Nigerians to felicitate the former Chief of Staff of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Mike Oghiadomhe on his 67th birthday.

The former Edo State Deputy Governor, Chief Oghiadomhe clocked 67 on Sunday, September 4, 2022.

In his congratulatory’s message as released on Sunday, September 4, 2022, Comrade Philip Shaibu eulogised the erudite political gladiator for his huge contribution to the Edo land and Nigeria as a whole and prayed for more life in good health for him.

“Your Excellency, I am profoundly delighted to join family members and well-meaning Nigerians to felicitate with you on this auspicious occasion of your birthday anniversary.”

“Permit me to place on record that over the years, you have distinguished yourself in your patriotic service to humanity and our country, Nigeria.”

“Indeed, your tenure as two-time Deputy Governor of our dear Edo State and former Chief of Staff to the President of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, speaks volumes of your tenacity, diligence and loyalty as a trusted and tested manager of human capital and financial resources.”

“Like the famous iroko tree that stands out in the thick of the forest, you are an exemplar of a responsible family man, a dependable leader, a committed and loyal Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faithful, whose passionate quest is the advancement of the ideals of an egalitarian society.”

Chief Mike Aiyegbeni Oghiadomhe was the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Nigeria from 1999 to 2007 and Chief of Staff to former Nigerian President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, from 2010 to 2014. He was born in Fugar, in Etsako Central Local Government Area of present-day Edo State of Nigeria.
