Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu has described the demise of Chief Godwin Edosa, Chairman, of Goddy Edosa Motors as a huge loss to the people of Edo State, particularly the bereaved family.
In his condolence message, the Deputy Governor affirmed said:
“I am deeply saddened by the news of the demise of Chief Godwin Edosa, who until his passing was the Founder and Chairman, of Goddy Edosa Motors, a Benin-based transport company”.
“I recall that he ventured into the transport business in Nigeria at a time the sector was in dire need of transformative and innovative ideas”.
” I must say that he contributed his quota and added value to the transport sector in Edo/Delta State in particular and Nigeria at large”.
“Goddy Edosa, as he was fondly called by friends, admirers and business associates, carved a niche for himself as a dogged, reputable and top-flight transporter cum entrepreneur”.

“His vast experience and technical know-how in the logistics business were brought to bear upon his appointment as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the state-owned Edo City Transport Service, E.C.T.S, by the Chief Lucky Igbinedion-led administration”.
“Though he will be sorely missed, permit me to commiserate with family members, friends and close associates for the irreparable loss of their dear father, husband and mentor”.
“It’s my sincere prayer that the good Lord grants those he left behind the fortitude to persevere at this moment of grief”.
“May his gentle soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in perfect peace, Amen”.
