After a 2-2 draw at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, the team is now in Berkane, Morocco, for the return fixture.

“We are 100 per cent ready for the CAF Confederations Cup second leg clash against RS Berkane of Morocco. We are now in Berkane, the camp is bubbling, the environment is conducive, and everything is going smoothly.” He stated.

Hussaini Abdullahi featured for the Benin Arsenal in the second leg clash against Algerian outfit, ASO Chlef where the Insurance team emerged as victors.

The first-leg match showcased the team’s determination, earning a 2-2 draw against the Moroccan side. Imade Osarenkhoe, who has now departed the club and Vincent Augustus were on the scoresheet for the Benin Arsenal.

Now, with the second leg looming on the horizon, Bendel Insurance aims to build on that performance and secure a victory or at least a draw with more than a goal to advance in the competition and book a place in the group stages.

The game will take place on Friday, September 29 at 9 pm local time. The team has called for the support and prayers of fans as they look to make Nigeria proud in this continental football competition.
