Christabel Otueroro Foundation organizes one-month free skill acquisition training in Benin City.

As part of its contribution to the development and empowerment of aspiring youths of Edo State, the Christabel Otueroro Foundation has announced its plans to train hundreds of Edo youths, with a one-month free skill acquisition training in the state capital.

The training will cover key basic entrepreneurial skills involving cosmetology which includes learning the production of household materials which includes soap production, perfume, detergent, powder, air freshener, hair cream, Vaseline, lotion, body cream and others.

The foundation will also train others on ICT soft skills and how they can put all acquired skills to use.

Speaking on what prospective participants should expect, a key figure amongst the facilitators and CEO, TAMARA SKILL GLOBAL VENTURE, Mrs Martha Alabi stated that developing new skills can help one get ahead in life as it’s an opportunity to become self-employed and better still, an employer of labour.

According to her, the world is evolving and the youths must take every presented opportunity with all their hands as self-independence is the best thing they will learn to appreciate.

The training which is open to all genders will require interested candidates to send their names, phone/WhatsApp numbers and particular skills they would be interested in learning to the official phone number of the foundation: 08119858593.

This is one of the numerous programs put in place by the foundation to empower the youths in Edo State and beyond.
