The Super falcons of nigeria seal their ticket to the Women’s African Cup of nations set to take place in Morocco after an emphatic 2-1 win against Cape Verde at the Estadio Nacional De Cabo Verde platinumnewsng.com is reporting.

After handing the home side a 5-0 win when the two sides met in Lagos, the host team stole the game in the early minutes of the game after Ivania Moreira striked one past Nnadozie. The Super Falcons would be looking to fight for thier 12th title in the competetion after finishing 4th place in the 2022 edition of the competition. In that year, South Africa defeated the host team Morocca 2-1 to emerge champions as Zambia finished on he third podium.

As at the time of reporting, the kickstart date for the Women’s African Cup of Nation 2024 is yet to be disclosed.
