Ikenne-based Football Club Academy side Beyond Limits FA has won the prize for the best costume at the opening ceremony of the Ongoing Gothia Cup in Sweden.
The Nigerian side who are 2x winners of the NPFL La Liga Promise U-15 youth league and are making their maiden appearance at the Gothia Cup have also been rewarded with free Participation and free accommodation for the next Gothia Cup tournament which will be held in the summer of 2024.
The opening celebration which had a show of Pageantry from the 70 participating nations teams who were presented in turns in front of over 51,000 spectators in attendance was held at the Ullevi Arena in Sweden amidst funfare, glitz and glamour on Monday Night.
The delegation of Beyond Limits Football Academy wore green “Kembe” outfits made with ” admire” fabric and “abet aja” caps with aso oke material. The colour green represents the green-white-green of Nigeria’s flag.
Beyond Limits in response to the win said:

The Gothia Cup is an international youth football tournament held annually in Sweden.
